LONDON VARSITY 2022- Saturday 19th March Review

Boat Club

The less said about about this one the better- a 6-0 rout of a defeat. Lovely day for it at least.

Full time score: 0-6

Lacrosse (Men’s)

The drama was equal to last year’s match, but this time the men’s team deservedly came out as victors in a very satisfying performance. Adan Khan rounded off the win with a sumptous late goal to cue scenes on the touchline.

Full time score: 14-9

Lacrosse (Women’s)

The women’s team manage to win this year in slightly less dramatic fashion than last year, but retaining the title is still the main job, and they did it comfortably. A massive performace to get Strand a double W in the Lacrosse.

Full time score: 11-9

Hockey (Women’s)

After racing to a 3-1 lead, the game’s favourites were able to see out the win despite some nervy late moments. KCL retain their title!

Full time score: 4-3

Hockey (Men’s)

Unfortunately the men’s team couldn’t match the women’s success, falling to a comprehensive defeat.

Full time score: 1-8

FINAL DAY SCORE: 3-2 KING’S (Again)

OVERALL SCORE: 9-6 KING’S- IT’S HAPPPENING!!!
