KCL Versus UCL Netball – Live Varsity Updates

Staff writer Jennifer Hensey reports on the Varsity Netball game.

It’s the sixth day of Varsity, and that means KCL Netball is taking on UCL at City Sports Centre in Islington at 3pm. Follow this page for live updates on the match.

First Quarter

Kings take the lead with 10-13 on the scoreboard.

3:19PM

Second Quarter

UCL close the gap but Kings hold their lead with 22-23.

3:42PM

Third Quarter

Although KCL scored the final goal of the quarter, UCL steal the lead through interceptions, bringing the score to 36 -34.

4:03PM

Fourth Quarter

Electric end to the last quarter with KCL closing a gap as high as 4 goals, scoring the equalising goal in the last second! With 46-46 on the scoreboard, the match will go into extra time.

4:25PM

First Half Extra Time

UCL regain the lead with 51-48 after a 5 minute half.

4:31PM

Second Half Extra Time

UCL steal the win after KCL leading for the entirety of the first half of the match. The time ends with 54-51.
