The Top Halloween-Themed Society Events to Look Out For This Weekend

With Halloween right around the corner, Roar has compiled a list of some of the themed society events for students to check out.

Whether you’re looking for a spooky night out, Halloween movie screenings, or an intereting new activity, KCL societies have got it all. Roar has put together a list of events running from Thursday, 27th October to Monday, 31st October. Further information can be found on the society instagrams.

 

27th October –

  1. Film Society is doing a Horror Movie Screening from 6 pm at the Nash Lecture Theatre.
  2. The Creative Writing Society is organising a Halloween theme writing tournament from 6 pm at the Bush House Activity Room F.
  3. The Crochet and Knit Society is doing a Crochet Pumpkin Workshop from 4 pm and 6 pm in Activity Room 2, Guys Campus.
  4. The Filipino Society is doing a Pub Crawl from 3 pm at the Vault.
  5. The Robotics Society is doing a Movie Night from 6 pm at Bush House Lecture Theatre 2.

28th October –

  1. Wholesome society is doing a movie screening from 3 pm at MB4.2, Macadam Building, Strand Campus.
  2. Japanese Society is also doing a movie screening from 7 pm at K1.28 Macadam Building, Strand campus.
  3. The Art Society is organising a Costume Party from 9 pm at 20 Bedford St, WC2E 9HP.
  4. The Geography Society is doing a Halloween Costume Party Contest from 3 pm at the Vault.
  5. The Doctor Who Society is doing a screening of two of the scariest episodes from 3 pm at S-1.04, Strand Campus.
  6. The Liberal Arts Society is doing a Rocky Horror Picture Show from 7 pm at Liberal Arts Common Room VWB 4.51.
  7. The Space Society is doing a Halloween Party from 6 pm at Anatomy Museum, K.36, Strand Campus.
  8. The War Studies Society is doing a Pub Crawl from 6 pm starting at the Vault.
  9. The Nepalese Society is doing a Treats Night from 3 pm.
  10. The Ukrainian Society is doing a Pub Crawl from 7 pm at the Vault.

29th October –

  1. The Gaming and E-sports Society is doing a Halloween Clue Party from 7 pm at the New Meta Gaming Arena.
  2. The Irish Society is doing a Halloween social from 3 pm at the Dover Castle Pub.

30th October –

  1. The Psychology Society is doing a Halloween Party from 3 pm at Be At One, Covent Garden.

31st October –

  1. The Jazz Society is doing a Pub Crawl from 3 pm starting from The Knights Templar.
  2. The Fashion Society is having a Halloween-themed party from 9 pm at The Vault.
