Corrections and Clarifications

Certain reporting was factually inaccurate on page 5 of Roar’s January 2018 edition. The error occurred in paragraph 6 of the article entitled “This is not politics, this is humanity”. A particular source was stated to arise from the Marxist Society, however, the veracity of this was not double checked before we went to print and the society distances itself from the opinions stated by the source. The society wishes to restate their stance here.

A good newspaper fact-checks every single bit of reporting and delivers the most truthful account of events. On this occasion, we have fallen short. We apologise to our readers for the mistake.
