King’s is 23rd best uni in the UK – but 109th for student satisfaction

KING’S has jumped five places to 23rd in the country in the latest university rankings.

The College is still trailing well behind in student satisfaction, coming in at a dire 109th place out of 126.

The Complete University Guide 2016 rankings put Oxford at the top of the table, with Cambridge coming in second. LSE, Imperial and UCL were all in the top ten.

King’s plans to rise to sixth in domestic rankings within the next five years – though this will be impossible unless the College sorts out the student satisfaction crisis.

International rankings generally reflect more favourably on King’s, as they tend not to take into account student satisfaction and instead emphasise things such as research.

Various vice principals have told Roar the College are focusing on trying to fix the student experience.
