Buildings Evacuated at Guy’s Campus After Bin Store Fire

A small fire broke out in a bin store near Shepherd’s House on Guy’s Campus today at approximately 11am.

King’s College London (KCL) confirmed that Counting House and the KCLSU West Wing Building were briefly evacuated. The London Fire Brigade attended the scene to extinguish the fire.

A spokesperson for KCL confirmed that the buildings are now operational.

The cause of the bin fire is yet to be confirmed.
