Roof ripped off double decker bus on Kingsway

THE roof of a double decker bus was torn off after it hit overhanging trees on Kingsway this afternoon.

The 91 bus was outside King’s College London when the roof was severed clean off.

Two people were taken to hospital and two others treated for minor injuries.

London Fire Brigade station manager, Gary Squires, said: “Those involved were very lucky to escape serious injury.”
